Three former Swifts players have been called up for the Northern Ireland International tour of South America. Current NI International Niall McGinn keeps his place in the squad but two new faces join him on the senior panel. Eighteen year old Liam Donnelly (Fulham) and twenty year old Luke McCullough (Doncaster) have both been called up to the full International team for the first time in their careers.
This is a terrific achievement for all three boys but in particular Liam and Luke with it being their debut call up. The team will play against Chile and Uruguay and hopefully all three will get some valuable game time.
We would like to wish Niall, Liam and Luke a safe journey to America and we hope they have a wonderful experience.
