With the current season drawing to a close in the next few weeks Swifts, Manager Rodney McAree has rewarded another two players with new contracts. Goalkeeper Stuart Addis (pictured above left) and midfielder Cormac Burke (pictured above right) have signed new contracts which will see them commit to the club for a further two seasons from now.
McAree expressed his delighted at securing the signatures of both players,
“Stuart (Addis) provides great experience and competition for the number one shirt with Andy (Coleman) and is a highly reliable keeper who we are fortunate to have within the squad! Burkey (Cormac Burke), who has shown terrific commitment has done fantastically well and I’m delighted to secure his services for the initial future, he’s a young lad who has so much talent and has so much more to give!”
Addis and Burke joined the Swifts last summer under previous Manager Darren Murphy when McAree was First Team Coach. As current Manager McAree obviously is pleased with how they have both progressed and will hopefully continue to do well at the Club.
We wish Stuart and Cormac continued success in a Dungannon Swifts shirt. Good luck to you both!
