Head Coach Rodney McAree has informed us that winger Cormac Burke, has agreed to sign a two year extension to his current contract. Burke, 24, first signed for the Club in May 2015 from Institute and is delighted to be offered a new deal.

“I had no hesitation at all signing again for Dungannon. I have had the best three years of my short career here and really enjoy my football at Dungannon and working with Rodney and his staff as well as the lads here. I’ve never came across a better dressing room so there was no hesitation at all for me to agree a new deal when I was offered it.”

“I think for all the hard work that everyone puts in around the club, both on and off the pitch, the next thing has to be silverware for us. We came so close last year in the semi finals of the Irish cup v Linfield. We have a semi final of the Bet McLean League Cup coming up this Tuesday night, so there is no question that silverware has to be a target.”

Congratulations on signing your new contract Cormac. Good Luck.

U20s v Carrick Rangers

Swifts u20s had a super win last night (Friday 5th January) v Carrick Rangers.

The final score was 3-0 to Dungannon. With goals coming from Ben Gallagher, and Sam Haugh (x2). Special mention to Ben, Ethen, Adam and Calum (all only 15 years old!) who all played their part in the win.
