Dungannon Swifts are pleased to announce the signing of mid fielder David McCullough on a two year deal.
Twenty-six year old David is the third addition to the squad at Stangmore Park. He joins the Swifts after having played most recently for Lisburn Distillery and previously Portadown.
“A player who every manager would love on their team” is how Murphy described the versatile McCullough. Murphy has watched McCullough grow stronger as a player through the years in the Irish League and has always admired him as a player.
McCullough, from Dromore, is eager to get started with the Swifts, “Murph has been a real praiser of the club and this made it easy for me to decide to come to the Swifts. Since I started playing Irish League Football as an 18 year old I’ve played alongside Murph for Portadown and against him on many occasions. I already know a number of the players which will make it easier for me to fit in. I think the club has fantastic facilities in place that any player would love to have available to them at their club. The new training pitch is a great addition to an already well ran club, which has many good people around it. I am now just so eager to get involved when pre season comes round.”
Welcome to Stangmore Park David and we wish you every success in a Swifts shirt.
