With one week to go until the Danske Bank Premiership 2019/20 Kicks off, Swifts Manager, Kris Lindsay has made a move to bring in striker, Ryan Waide, on loan, from Linfield FC.

New signing, Ryan Waide, pictured with Manager Kris Lindsay.

Nineteen year old Waide, will join us at Stangmore Park until January 2020. He comes to Dungannon with a wealth of Irish League experience, despite his young age. Ryan has played for Linfield since he was 8 years old, and has completed loan spells at both Ards and Carrick Rangers.

Ryan, who has represented Northern Ireland at U16/17 & most recently U19 level can’t wait to get started with us;

“I am absolutely buzzing to sign and I can’t wait to get going next week, and play as many games as I can in my time at Dungannon. Hopefully I can continue to gel with the boys even more, they have been immense with me already, which makes it so much easier to settle in. Looking to the season ahead, hopefully I can score a lot of goals to help the boys out and of course help the Club onto bigger and better things!”

Manager Kris Lindsay was equally as happy as Ryan;

“I’m delighted to get Ryan on board, on loan from Linfield. Again, he is a young, hungry player, with a point to prove. He is a natural goal scorer. It’s maybe something we have been lacking a little bit over pre season and he gives us another option up there. I am really looking forward to getting to work with him, and seeing him in action and hopefully scoring a few goals for the Swifts.
I’d also just like to say thanks to Linfield, David Healy in particular, for letting this loan deal happen and the professional way they have went about it.”

Ryan will wear the number 26 shirt this season.
Welcome to Stangmore Park Ryan, we wish you every success as a Dungannon Swifts player.
