It is with great pleasure we can confirm that, James Knowles, has signed a new deal at Stangmore Park. James, who was Vice Captain of the Club last season has committed his future to the club and more than happy about the decision.
“To be honest I’m just really delighted to get it over the line, to get it done. Thinking about it, I’ve been here for two years now and I’ve had a really good connection with the Club, everyone around the club and the fans as well. Going back to it, I didn’t really see myself playing anywhere else next year. I’ve really enjoyed my time here. I’ve really enjoyed playing football, it’s giving me the hunger for it again. Obviously Rod coming in is going to be a new challenge for all of us, which is also very exciting. I can’t wait to get going. He’s going to make new additions to the squad and that I look forward to. Hopefully we can push on and have a better season.”

Northern Ireland U18 Youth International, Corey Smith, has been rewarded with an improved deal at Stangmore Park. Smith scored his first senior league goal on Friday night against Glenavon FC, after coming off the bench with 15 minutes to go.
Eighteen year old Smith has played regularly for Swift’s U20s when not on International duty and has a total of 9 first team appearances off the bench this season. He’s got one goal to his tally with hopefully lots more to come.
Smith himself is delighted to have signed an improved deal at Stangmore Park;
“It’s something that’s been on my radar for a while now. I enjoy being at the club and I’m up around the first team a lot more often now which is really good. My aim is to push on and be up with the first team and involved with the match day squad, week in and week out. This is something I’m really looking forward to doing.”

Last year, Dungannon Swifts, in partnership with Dungannon Baptist Church, hosted our first ever Easter football camp. Each day we had over 80 p4’s-p7’s come and participate in football drills provided by fully qualified coaches. It was so successful, that this year we have offered this Football Camp again from Tuesday 11th of April to Friday 14th of April, 10pm to 12pm each day.
